Many described trails for hiking are in the municipalities of Roccastrada and Gavorrano.

Tennis courts are in nearly every village.

This region is very popular for cycling. Cyclists from all over Italy as well as Switzerland and Germany do their training here.

Attention: there are no special cycle tracks, you have to ride on the street or on small roads. There are cycle tracks, for example, on the coast, in Marina di Grosseto and Principina a Mare.

Golf as a sport is becoming more and more popular. Golf courses are located in Punta Ala and in the hotel arrangement Pelagone near Scarlino

Riding stables offer riding lessons and organized rides can also be found frequently.

Since a few years it is possible to rent bikes and related equipment at a specialised shop in Roccatederighi.  If wanted guided sight seeing tours or advanced biking trips can be organised
