The Maremma is the southern part of the Tuscany. Not many regions of Italy can offer such an unspoilt landscape as in the province of Grosseto. Therefore it is not surprising that this region is a real paradise for all nature lovers.

Typical for the Maremma is the coastline (130 km long) with its pine forests and fine sandy beaches. Apart from the coast the natural scenery is dominated by olive groves, cultivated fields with wheat and corn, sunflowers and vegetables. Over the last few years the Maremma has further developed its reputation for good wine and has established the “Strada di vino di Massa Marittima”.
