"Borgo Lattaia" is settled in the north of the small village Sticciano Scalo, community of Roccastrada, in the province of Grosseto. The nice country estate is made of natural stone and is part of a grand settlement, consisting of four main properties which were built up on top of the foundations of the historic castle of ,Castello Lattaia, (around 9 th century!). These four beautiful old buildings are arranged around a private chapel. Each house is separate and is
surrounded by several hectares of ground and garden.

The two flats are in the building which is aligned to the south side. The hospitable landlords occupy the lower section and the first floor. An idyllic and peaceful place, ,Borgo Lattaia, is encircled by olive trees and cork oaks, in the heart of the Maremma.

A place which promises pure rest and relaxation in a typical Tuscan landscape.

Absolutely worth mentioning is the fact that the oldest olive tree (nearly 1,000 years old!) of the whole region stands on this estate.

The next possibilities for shopping are Sticciano Scalo (c. 6 km south-west) or in Ribolla (c. 8 km west). Some of the nearest sandy beaches, in a distance of approx. 35-40 km, are Castiglione della Pescaia, Marina di Grosseto, Punta Ala or Follonica; to only mention a few.
