Tenuta di Montemassi is settled on the border of the medieval village Montemassi. (approx. 250 m over sea level) in the community of Roccastrada, province of Grosseto. The manor (built in the 18th century) was tastefully restored in the years of 1999 and 2000. The main concern was to keep the original and traditional character and structure of the Tuscan style.

Because of the location in the midst of the gentle hills, Montemassi, with its historical picturesque Old Town and its castle ruins, is a real eye-catcher whose beauty can be sited from a long distance.

From the village you have a fantastic panorama view overlooking the olive trees and woods of the manor to the coast of the sea.

There are possibilities for shopping (grocery) or dining (Restaurants) in Montemassi or in Ribolla (ca. 5 km south-west).

In a distance of nearly 30-40 km there are some of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Maremma (e.g. Castiglione della Pescaia, Punta Ala, Marina di Grosseto, Principina a Mare, Follonica)
