"Podere Doganelle" is located in the gentle, rolling hills of the Maremma, in the community of Gavorrano, in the providence of Grosseto. The house is a beautiful location, at the foot of the medieval mountain village of Giuncarico. "Podere Doganelle", once the barn of the farm, was restored with great care in 2002/2003, whereby great effort was placed on preserving the charactistic features of the old house (e.g. the color of the stucco,
wooden ceiling beams, etc.).

Thus a small holiday paradise was created, a place to feel at home. The young owner, who took over the house and family farm (approx. 115 hectares land, growing various grains and producing olive oil), lives in the impressive main house, directly next to "Podere Doganelle". He personally looks after his holiday guests, the apartments and the large garden.

The property is approx. 25 km away from the curvy, small province highway. Presently only 4 of the 7 apartments are completed. The other 3 should be finished in the off seasons – so don't worry, there will be no construction taking place during the holiday season!

The next possibilities for shopping are in Giuncarico (approx. 2.5 km), Ribolla (approx. 7 km to the north, large supermarket, shops of all kinds, bank, post office…) or Grilli (approx. 4 km south-west)

The next sandy beach - Castiglione della Pescaia – is approx. 20 km south-west. Further beautiful beaches in the vicinity are Punta Ala, Principina a Mare or Marina di Alberese.
